Happy Memorial Day!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to those who fought for our freedom! I'm remembering celebrations as a kid that started with lining up in parade formation in my black wool band suit, coronet in hand, ready to march the route and play in the ceremony. That was followed by a quick run back to the Dairy Queen to redeem my ticket for a free ice cream cone.
Thank you to the many men and women who have fought for our freedoms, like the ones I've listed above, and the many many more, we consistently take for granted on a daily basis. We owe you so much, least of all, a big dose of gratitude and respect.
